Chair Decor on a Budget

Are you looking for a way to "pretty" up your chairs but don't have the budget for chair covers or traditional sashes? Buy some 1 1/2 to 2" wired ribbon in your wedding colors and tie around the backs of your chairs. Clip a piece of silk flower to match your decor and "tie" it into the knot.

You don't even need enough to do all the chairs - just do every other chair if you'd like. This will add a little extra pop of color to your reception and your budget will love you :-)

Happy Planning!!

Save The Dates

Many people ask when they should send out Save the Dates.

While not necessary, it's a nice way to announce your upcoming wedding.

Our recommendation is to send your save the dates 8-12 months prior to your wedding and no later than 4 months prior. Anything after 4 months and you risk running into your invites.

We offer a complete selection of save the dates for your event. Just let us know what kind of style you're interested in and we'll get some ideas for you!! (Here are just a few)

Happy planning,

Wedding Tip for April 1st, 2008

This is no JOKE :-)

by Sharon Naylor

Take every computer spreadsheet you have for the wedding plans and make hard copy printouts of them right now. You don’t want to lose your itineraries, checklists and address books or seating chart to a computer glitch. Better to have paper copies as backup in case your computer goes on the blink.

Wedding Tip of the Day

by Sharon Naylor

For your final dress fitting, invite your Maid of Honor or mom to come along, since the dress shop staff will teach them how to help you into your dress, fasten your bustle, arrange your train, help you in the bathroom, etc. This expert lesson will save you all a lot of frustration on the wedding morning.
